Pakistan and Japan signed MOC for technical training program

Islamabad, February 26: Pakistan and Japan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Technical Intern Training Programme (TITP) in Tokyo, on Tuesday.

Special Secretary, Asia Pacific, Imtiaz Ahmad and the Parliamentary Vice Minister Uena Hiroshi signed the memorandum.

This is the first institutional arrangement between the Governments of Pakistan and Japan. Japanese market for Pakistani workers will be opened because of this training program.

The objectives and purpose of the Technical Intern Training Programme is to transfer skills, technologies and knowledge. To promote international cooperation by contributing human resources development.

The trained persons will play roles in the economic development of their regions. 

This impact of Memorandum will also support in the development of Pakistan’s economy and as well as bilateral cooperation with Japan.

The cooperation under this Memorandum will continue for a period of five years but will be extended automatically for additional five years.
