Karachi, March 13, 2020: While appreciating the decision of Balochistan Cabinet meeting presided over the Chief Minister of Balochistan Mr. Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani to approve the relaxation in various taxes and deferment of increase in fees, royalty and rent on Mines and Minerals including the suspension of the recovery of 1 percent Balochistan Infrastructure Cess, the Electricity duty and motor vehicle tax, Ismail Suttar has hailed the decision and termed the same as industry- relief announcement.
Ismail Suttar, the staunch advocate of rapid industrialization in Pakistan for employment generation and poverty alleviation, said that the Balochistan Cabinet decision under the leadership of Mr. Jam Kamal Khan Aliyani, in these times of great financial distress and adversity, is timely, receptive and courageous.
The LCCI President, has greatly sympathized with fellow citizens of Pakistan, especially the poor laborers, farmers and daily-wage earners, who have been most severely hit by (or prone to) Corona disease due to no vaccine and underdeveloped healthcare system and this excellent initiative by CM Jam Kamal will play a pivotal role in fighting it off.
