Sony’s Playstation5 (PS5) Slim console – which is scheduled to be released this year in November – is rumored to have additional expandable storage capabilities.
However, Sony officially confirmed that the latest version of the Playstation5 (PS5) Slim console will be able to support expandable storage to enhance the user experience.
According to the spokesperson of PlayStation’s email to the international gaming media outlet, “there are no changes with the new model,” hinted that the users have to remove the back cover panel of the console to manually install an additional SSD.
This means, the PS5 Slim users can experience more memory than the launched version if they desire.
The console is capable of supporting 1TB of internal SSD storage, however, the launched model have 825GB of storage out of which only 667 GB was useable.
The gamers who wanted to buy the redesigned console got a plus point as the PS5 Slim continued to support expandable storage.
