Lahore, November 18, 2023 : Teenage accused Afnan Shafqat, involved in the fatal road crash in DHA Phase-VII, seeks bail from the court.
The sessions court heard accused Afnan’s bail petition and requested the case record from the police. The defense lawyer argued that the accused, nominated in the Defense road mishap, was involved in an accident.
The defense lawyer, while seeking the accused’s release on bail, emphasized that the individual is an underage youth. However, the complainant’s lawyer argued that the FIR included clauses of anti-terrorism law, insisting that the accused should be sent to the anti-terrorism court for bail. The plaintiff’s lawyer also urged the court to reject the bail plea of Afnan.
Earlier information indicated that the teenage accused, Afnan Shafqat, allegedly ‘intentionally’ collided his car with the victim family’s vehicle in the fatal DHA road crash.
