Lahore, November 27, 2023 : A Lahore anti-terrorism court has issued an arrest order for PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb, directing her to appear in court on December 09.
ATC Judge Abhar Gul has issued an arrest warrant for Marriyum Aurangzeb, instructing the relevant SHO to comply with the warrant in connection to a case involving a provocative speech she allegedly delivered.
The court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Aurangzeb due to her non-appearance at the case hearing.
PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif is also implicated in the case. The court has instructed Javed Latif and other accused individuals to attend the next hearing scheduled for December 09.
The case was filed against former information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and other PML-N leaders at the Green Town police station.
