On Thursday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) commenced trading with a positive trend, witnessing a significant intraday gain of over 1,000 points in the benchmark index.
As per the PSX website, the KSE-100 index, listed as the benchmark, surged by 1,271 points, surpassing the 62,000 mark by 11:25 am and reaching a trading level of 62,135 points.
On Wednesday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) concluded in the green after a volatile session. The benchmark KSE-100 Index recorded a significant gain of 1,692.65 points, representing a 2.86% increase, and closed at 60,863.62.
According to the technical outlook from JS Global on Thursday, the KSE-100 index closed at 60,864, marking a day-on-day increase of 1,693 points. The trading volume amounted to 669 million shares, slightly lower than the 671 million shares traded in the previous session.
