KARACHI,December 20, 2024: Sudanese Ambassador Saleh Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Siddiq, accompanied by Honorary Consul Aleem Adil Sheikh and a delegation, visited the central office of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). During his visit, the Ambassador engaged with members of Pakistan’s business community to discuss Sudan’s current challenges, including political instability, economic difficulties, and security issues, as well as opportunities for mutual trade collaboration.

Ambassador Saleh Mohammed Ahmed emphasized the importance of global efforts to foster sustainable peace in Sudan. Humanitarian Crisis in Sudan
Former FPCCI Vice President Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry shed light on the dire conditions Sudan has faced over the past 19 months, exacerbated by floods that have displaced over 10 million people. He highlighted the following:

He urged immediate international action to alleviate the suffering of millions and support Sudan on its path to recovery.
