Asad Umar decided to resign

Islamabad, April 18, 2019: Federal Minister Finance Asad Umer has announced to quit from Federal cabinet. For the last few days, there were rumours in the market that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has decided to remove Asad Umer as Minister Finance.

Asad Umar has decided to leave the ministry of Finance, on the social networking site, he said that the prime minister wanted to give me the power of energy instead of the treasury.

In his tweet he said, As part of a cabinet, reshuffle PM desired that I take the energy minister portfolio instead of finance. However, I have obtained his consent to not take any cabinet position. I strongly believe Imran Khan is the best hope for Pakistan and inshallah will make a Naya Pakistan.

It is clear that despite the economic situation of the country, especially the government and Asad Umar was criticized badly. Apart from this, Asad Omar was also criticized by the cabinet.

However, later Minister Information Fawad Chaudhry declined these reports and said there is no plan to reshuffle the cabinet.

Asad UMER in his Tweet announced that he will not be part of cabinet.
