Church converted into Mosque (Masjid) in Germany with support of Pakistani entrepreneurs

Germany, September 8, 2019: With support of Pakistani entrepreneurs, an old Church in Hagen Germany has been converted into Masjid (Mosque).

The Jesus Heiligen Church was bought with 380,000 euro in Hagen and most of financial support was provided by some leading Pakistani businessmen.

The inaugural ceremony of the Masjid namely Faizan E Imaan was held on Sunday at HAGEN Germany under the leadership of Haji Abdul Habib Attari and Sayed Ibrahim Bapoo and Muslims performed first Zohar prayer.


A 15-member delegation comprises of different business communities from Pakistan also participated in the inaugural ceremony.

Rafique Suleman Ex-Chairman Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan, Syed Ibrahim Bapoo of Chemical Association, Amjad Chamdia of Yarn Merchants Association, Akhter Ismail Textile Association, Mehboob Siddiqui IT department, Imran Gigi Association of Builders and Developers, Imran Hashim Gems & Jewellers and many others were the part of the delegation.

The lovers of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and Muslims coming from UK Norway Denmark Austria Belgium France and Kenya also participated in the inaugural ceremony and all delegates performed first Zohar prayer along with local community.

Rafique Suleman member of Pakistani delegation informed that after the Zuhar, special prayers were offered for Allah’s blessing on all Muslim Ummah specially Kashmiri Syrian and Paksiatni. He also paid tribute Ameer e Ahlae Sunnat Hazrat Moulana Ilyas Qadri for guidance.
