Federal minister of aviation visited Allama Iqbal International Airport

Karachi, July 9, 2019: Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Federal Minister of Aviation visited the place of the recent assassination incident at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Monday, and asked ASF officials to complete the inquiry as almost immediately and also asked for the compliance of inquiry report.

Lahore International Airport Chief Executive Officer / Airport Manager Nazeer Ahmad Khan informed him about the conveniences and services provided to the passengers on the airport, and especially to the pilgrims of Hajj. The meticulous briefing was given by Ali Tipu, Chief Security Officer of the Airport.

Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Federal Minister of Aviation was briefed about the working of Civil Aviation Authority and ASF provided facilities, at Allama Iqbal Airport. Federal Minister also visited departure and arrival lounges at the airport.

He also observed various services including Pakistan facilities provided to passengers by Civil Aviation Authority, Air Force Security Force, Anti-Narcotics Force, Customs, FIA  and Immigration Services. During this period, Federal Minister of Aviation also issued special instructions for a comfortable and pleasant journey of Hajjis and also expressed that there should be no issues for Hajjis on the airport.

Chief Operating Nazeer Ahmed Khan gave assurance to Federal Minister that pilgrims will not face any problems at the airport. He also informed about the instructions of Director General Civil Aviation Authority Shah Rukh Naseer for Hajjis.
