IMC collects fallen flags, Post-Independence celebrations

Karachi, August 16, 2019: Owing to the increasing trend of selling national flags made of paper and plastic, people enthusiastically buy such flags with a sense of national pride to celebrate national days, but sadly we find these flags trampled upon the roads.

Indus Motor Company initiated a drive and collected fallen flags after Independence Day celebrations under “Cleanup Drive” to pay respect to beloved country.

A large number of employees of IMC voluntarily participated in the drive and cruised through a fleet of five vehicles across the major arteries of Karachi city, that include Steel town, North Karachi, Super Highway, National Highway, Landhi, Korangi, Malir, and Clifton. Volunteers picked up the flags and showed their respect and unity for the celebration of Independence Day.

“It is always good to celebrate our national day in exuberant way butwe should not forget the dignity and respect which our national symbols like National Anthem and National Flag deserve. Clean Pakistan Drive shows IMC’s continued efforts and its commitment with our country that IMC will always be on the forefront in serving Pakistan in all times,” said IMC CEO Ali Asghar Jamali.
