MoU signed between Al-Khidmat Health Foundation and Punjab Hepatitis Control Program

Doctors and staff in hospitals will be given advanced training regarding the program, said Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Program Manager, Hepatitis and Infection Control Program.

Karachi, February 15, 2021: The Khidmat Health Foundation and the Punjab Hepatitis Control Program of the Punjab Government have decided to benefit from each other’s experiences and advanced technical skills. ۔ Al-Khidmat Health Foundation was represented by Sufyan Ahmad Khan, Manager Tariq Waheed and Punjab Hepatitis Control Program by Dr. Khalid Mehmood and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zaid Latif. Vaccination will also be provided.

AHF Managing Director Sufyan Ahmad Khan said that corona virus has caused many problems in the global health system. Health system in Punjab province is also under pressure on corona virus and hepatitis diseases are on the rise and Al-Khidmat Health Foundation in collaboration with Punjab Hepatitis Control Program to strengthen the health system free screening of hepatitis B , Treatment and vaccine facilities will also be provided.

Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Program Manager, Hepatitis and Infection Control Program, said that doctors and staff in hospitals would be given advanced training on the program and would work with the Khidmat Health Foundation to provide the best treatment for hepatitis patients. He further said that the service is exemplary in the field of service.
