NIT declares dividend for the year end June 2019.

Karachi, July 05, 2019: National Investment Trust Limited (NITL), the first and the largest Asset Management Company of Pakistan, has declared results of all Funds under its management for the year ended on 30th June 2019. This was stated by Managing Director– NIT, Adnan Afridi in a press release issued on July 05, 2019 after its Board of Directors approved the annual results of all Funds under its management. He further stated that as of 30th June 2019, NIT is managing ten Funds with net assets under management of around Rs. 75,593 million.

NI(U)T Fund:

Despite challenging macroeconomic conditions, NIT has maintained its 56 years history of consistently paying dividend and declared a cash dividend of Rs. 1.55 per unit for unit holders of NI(U)T Fund for the year ended on 30th June 2019. The payment of dividend @ Rs. 1.55 per unit would involve a huge payout of Rs. 1,479 million among its unit holders.

During FY19, NI(U)T Fund has earned a net income of Rs. 1,527 million translating into an earning per unit of Rs. 1.60.

As of 30th June 2019, net assets of NI(U)T Fund stood at Rs. 51,915 million.

NIT-State Enterprise Fund (NIT-SEF):

NIT has declared a cash dividend of Rs. 0.46 per unit for unit holders of NIT-State Enterprise Fund for the year ended on June 30, 2019.

During FY19, the Fund has earned a net income of Rs. 69 million translating into an Earning Per Unit of Rs. 0.46.

As of 30th June 2019, Net Assets of NIT State Enterprise Fund stood at Rs. 1,936 million.

NIT – Equity Market Opportunity Fund (NIT-EMOF):

NIT has declared a per unit cash dividend of Rs. 4.96 for unit holders of NIT Equity Market Opportunity Fund for the year ended on 30thJune 2019.

During the year under review, the Fund has earned a net income of Rs. 194 million which translates into per unit earning of Rs. 4.96.

As of 30th June 2019, Net assets of NIT Equity Market Opportunity Fund stood at Rs. 6,176 million.

NIT – Islamic Equity Fund (NIT-IEF):

NIT has declared a per unit cash dividend of Rs. 0.19 for unit holders of NIT Islamic Equity Fund for the year ended on 30th June 2019.

During the year under review, the Fund has earned a net income of Rs.78 million which translates into per unit earning of Rs. 0.19.

As of 30th June 2019, Net assets of NIT Islamic Equity Fund stood at Rs. 3,046 million.

NIT Government Bond Fund (NIT-GBF):

NIT has declared a per unit cash dividend of Rs. 0.8845 for unit holders of NIT Government Bond Fund for the year ended on 30th June 2019.

For the year ended on 30th June 2019, the Fund has earned a net income of Rs. 289 million.

As of 30th June 2019, the net assets of NIT Government Bond Fund stood at Rs. 3,540 million.

NIT Income Fund (NIT-IF):

NIT has declared a cash dividend of Rs. 0.9025 per unit for unit holders of NIT Income Fund for the year ended on 30th June 2019.

For the year ended on 30th June 2019, the Fund has earned a net income of Rs. 321 million.

As of 30th June 2019, the net asset of NIT Income Fund stood at Rs.4,130 million.

NIT Money Market Fund (Formerly NIT Government Treasury Fund):

NIT has declared a per unit cash dividend of Rs. 0.9974 for unit holders of NIT Money Market Fund (formerly NIT Government Treasury Fund)for the year ended on 30th June 2019.

For the year ended on 30th June 2019, the Fund has earned a net income of Rs. 168 million.

As of 30th June 2019, Net Assets of NIT Money Market Fund (formerly NIT Government Treasury Fund) stood at Rs. 3,484 million.

NIT Islamic Income Fund (NIT- IIF):

NIT has declared a per unit cash dividend of Rs. 0.9122 for the unit holders of NIT Islamic Income Fund for the year ended on 30th June 2019.

During FY19, the Fund has earned a net income of Rs. 42 million.

As of 30th June 2019, Net assets of NIT Islamic Income Fund stood at Rs. 651 million.
