Pakistan not to attend 46th OIC session in protest over India’s participation

ISLAMABAD, March 1, 2019: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday announced that he would not attend the 46th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Abu Dhabi in strong objection to India’s participation.

During the joint sitting of Parliament, the Foreign Minister said India had no moral grounds to be present at the meeting as it rejected the OIC resolutions on the Jammu and Kashmir.

“India is a country with unresolved disputes with Pakistan. India is also responsible for horrendous human rights violations of the people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” he stressed.
