PIA will operate two relief flights to Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan

Karachi, June 15, 2020:  On the instructions of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, PIA will operate two flights to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on 17 June. PIA is continuing its relief flights to bring back stranded Pakistanis as well as foreign national back to their countries. 

Minister for Aviation, Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Pakistan’s Ambassador in Kyrgyzstan, Sardar Azhar Tariq Khan played a pivotal role for grant of permission to PIA for flights to Bishkek.

PIA will operate two flights to Bishkek from Islamabad, the one way fare will be US $ 450 inclusive of all taxes.

PIA spokesman said that passengers willing to travel from Bishkek are requested to contact Pakistan Embassy in Beshkek while passengers willing to travel from Islamabad can book their tickets through PIA Booking Offices in Pakistan. 

Meanwhile on the reports that excessive fares are being charged from passengers willing to travel from UAE and Saudi Arabia, the spokesperson said that PIA has publically announced the standard fares from both the countries and further announcing that tickets are available from IATA agents, PIA app and website as well as from PIA offices in the countries. In case there are instances of charging above the published fares, the same may be immediately reported to Pakistani missions, PIA country managers or at [email protected].
