Tabba Heart Institute’s Free Heart Screening Camp at Hyderabad

Cardiovascular disease is considered one of the biggest cause of deaths in Pakistan, one of the reasons for this high fatality rate is late diagnosis of heart diseases. To change this, Tabba Heart Institute held a Free Heart Screening Camp at their Hyderabad Outreach Centre located at 3rd floor of Boulevard Mall.

The medical camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad, Fuad Ghafar Soomro. He visited the outreach centre to inaugurate the camp and then talked with media about the importance of such initiatives by private sector.

While talking with media Fuad Ghafar Soomro appreciated the efforts of Tabba Heart Institute in providing free heart consultation and tests, which he said will be helpful in early diagnosis of cardiovascular issues.

Free Heart Screening Camp was held for 8 hours during which 1,000 patients from Hyderabad, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot  and Tando Allahyar were provided free services such as consultation, blood pressure checkup, BMI, tests for blood sugar level and ECG.

People who came for consultation were satisfied with the services of Tabba Institute Heart, they appreciated the behavior of doctors and management staff.

It is not the first time that such free medical camp was held by Tabba Heart Institute, rather free medical camps, consultation and discounts are offered on regular intervals. This Free Heart Screening Camp was launched as a way to commemorate the World Heart Day 2020.

All SOPs of Covid-19 were followed during the free camp including checking temperature of patients, keeping social distancing, wearing masks and hand sanitization.
