Vice President of China, Wang Qishan visits Haier Economic Zone

Lahore, May 28, 2019: Vice President of China, Wang Qishan visits Pakistan on an official visit. He visited the Haier Economic Zone in Lahore and was warmly welcomed by all the Factory workers and Upper Management.

Haier Pakistan CEO Javed Afridi took the Vice President on a tour of the factory and Wang Qishan was impressed by the level of technology that was being implemented here. He said that Pak-China will be further cemented in the near future with initiatives such as these. China will fully support Pakistan in its future endeavors and will help bring more investment in the region. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was also present at this auspicious occasion and were briefed as well by Javed Afridi.

Javed Afridi thanked Wang Qishan for his visit and also gave him a signed Peshawar Zalmi bat as a souvenir to take back home. Javed Afridi said that after the successful visit of Imran Khan to China and now Wanq Qishan’s visit to Pakistan is fruitful for both countries and paves way for more opportunities in the future.
