Nestlé Pakistan Sales Rise 6.3% to Rs160 Billion in Nine Months

Nestlé Pakistan Sales Rise 6.3% to Rs160 Billion in Nine Months

Nestlé Pakistan Limited reported net sales of Rs160 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, marking a 6.3% increase compared with the same period last year.

The company attributed its sales growth to increased brand investment, consumer-focused product innovation and renovation, stronger marketplace execution, and improved export routes to market.

Gross profit increased by 8.1% year-on-year, supported by higher sales, disciplined overhead management and continued efforts to optimise the value chain.

Higher Fuel and Distribution Costs Affect Operating Profit

Despite the improvement in gross profit, operating profit growth stood at 5.9%. The company said higher investment in brands and rising distribution costs, driven by increased fuel prices, moderated the improvement.

Net profit after tax grew by 3.1% compared with the corresponding period last year, despite higher taxation expenses.

The results reflect continued business growth alongside cost pressures affecting operations and profitability.

Company Maintains Cautious Outlook for 2026

Nestlé Pakistan has maintained a cautious outlook for the full year 2026 due to geopolitical instability, volatility in energy and other input costs, and elevated inflation linked to fuel prices.

The company expects inflationary pressures to continue affecting consumer spending and operating expenses. However, it said its business remains positioned to manage these challenges.

Brand Investment and Efficiency Remain Key Priorities

Nestlé Pakistan plans to continue investing in its brands to strengthen its position in key product categories. It will also focus on operational excellence, developing high-performing teams and advancing its sustainability agenda.

The company said these priorities would support its market position while helping it respond to changing consumer needs and cost pressures.

The nine-month results show that Nestlé Pakistan continued to grow sales and improve gross profitability, although higher distribution costs, brand investment and taxation limited the increase in net profit.
