The remaining incorporations included 105 limited liability partnerships (LLPs), 39 not-for-profit companies registered under Section 42, four public companies, two foreign companies and one trade organisation.

Investors from Turkey, Canada, Brazil, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands accounted for two each. Another 14 investors came from other countries.
The total included five foreign corporate entities, while the remaining participants were individuals.
SECP Reports Gender Participation Figures
The regulator’s gender data showed that women accounted for 13% of shareholders and directors. Their share stood at 11% among ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) and 8% among chief executives.
The October figures highlight the continued shift towards digital company incorporation in Pakistan. They also show the strong presence of information technology, trading and services among newly registered businesses.
The growth in registrations reflects ongoing business formation across the country, while foreign investor participation points to international interest in Pakistan’s corporate sector.
