Islamabad: 20, September 2024, A meeting of the Privatisation Commission Board was held in Islamabad on 20th September 2024, under the Chairmanship of the Minister for Privatisation/ Chairman Privatisation Commission, Mr Abdul Aleem Khan.
The board reviewed the current status of PIA privatisation and considered the recommendations of the Financial Advisor concerning the permitted changes under the terms of the Request for Statement of Qualification (RSOQ). Privatisation Commission had prequalified six bidders including Fly Jinnah, a Consortium led by YB Holdings (Pvt.) Limited, Airblue Limited, Consortium led by Pak Ethanol (Pvt.) Limited, Arif Habib Corporation Limited and Blue World City. The bidding for PIACL is planned for 1st October 2024.
