KARACHI, September 1, 2025: Veteran banker and thought leader Sirajuddin Aziz has launched his latest book, Corporate Success: Engaged Leadership – Insights & Strategies, at a ceremony held at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.
The launch event was attended by prominent business leaders, policymakers, and academics, who praised the book for its relevance to today’s rapidly evolving corporate landscape. Drawing on decades of professional experience, Aziz presents strategies focused on engagement, ethics, and resilience qualities he considers essential for sustainable leadership.
Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jameel Ahmad, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and commended the author for addressing the critical themes of leadership, governance, and human capital development.
Former Federal Minister Senator Javed Jabbar delivered the keynote address, describing the book Aziz’s tenth as a prolific contribution. He likened it to “scoring a century in cricket” and highlighted its 87 essays, endorsed by six former Governors of the State Bank of Pakistan.
Other speakers included Dr. Huma Baqai, Rector of the Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship, who praised the book’s balance of academic value and practical insights, and Dr. Ikram Sehgal, Chairman of Pathfinder Group, who called it a valuable guide to corporate strategy while recalling the author’s leadership in times of crisis.
In his remarks, Sirajuddin Aziz thanked the audience for their support, stating: “Leadership today demands both insight and empathy. This book shares strategies that blend experience with principled engagement, to help future leaders chart a sustainable corporate course.”
Aziz, who currently serves as the Banking Ombudsman of Pakistan, has held senior roles in multinational banks and remains an active voice on leadership, economics, and governance. With Corporate Success: Engaged Leadership Insights & Strategies, he continues his contribution to thought leadership in Pakistan and beyond
