Karachi, July 9, 2019: A brilliant half-century by Bahadur Ali and the deadly spell of slow left-arm Irfanullah guided Malik Associates CC to a four-wicket triumph against Al-Amir colts CC in the third champion trophy T-20 cricket tournament here on Monday.
After opting to bat first at the Al Mansoura Cricket ground Gulberg Al- Amir colts CC mustered 153-10 in the stipulated 20 overs with Muhammad Umer top-scoring with 44 off 26 deliveries that included three fours and three sixes.
Aqib Anwar struck four boundaries and a six in scoring 37 off 25 balls, Abid Hussain made 18 with his 18-ball effort including three fours.
Left-arm -spinner Irfanullah grabbed three wickets for 21 runs while Off- Spinner Navaid Baloch claimed 2-13.
Malik Associates CC, in reply, wrapped up the match in 18.4 overs with man-of-the-match Bahadur Ali making 55 from 35 balls with the aid of five fours and two sixes while Habib Khan contributing a feisty unbeaten 19-ball 28 with three fours and Mehtab Khan scored 13-ball 24 not out with four fours.
