Lahore, April 29, 2019: Hearing of a case against Quran verses and Hadiths written on marble tiles. The court issued a notice to the Federal government, Secretary of Religious affairs and Quran Board and ordered to answer on May 20.
Justice Iqbal Bhatti hearing the case on the application of the Lawyer Shenshah Shumail Paracha Advocate in which he said, the verses of Quran and Hadiths are melted in a furnace and then pasted on the tiles. This is the outrage of the verses of the Quran and Hadiths, burning the Quran and Hadith in the furnace is a serious and unacceptable crime. Dirty hands are placed on these verses and Hadiths, The government and the Quran board are silent about it, he added.
The court should ban the steps of imposing these verses and Hadiths on Marble Tiles, he concluded.
