Fawad to lead Pakistan Super Veterans Team to England

Karachi, June 14, 2019: Pakistan Super Veterans (Over 60) Cricket Team is touring England from 15th to 27th June 2019. During the tour, the team will play five matches. This was disclosed in a Press Release issued by the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association.

This is the first tour of Over 60 players organized by PVCA. The Team is led by Fawad Ijaz Khan Chairman PVCA and Ejaz Faquih as Vice Captain. Ashiq Hussain Qureshi C.E.O. PVCA will be Manager and Former Test Player Jalaluddin Head Coach. Team also includes former Test Players Mansoor Akhtar and Ashraf Ali and Former ODI Player P.J. Mir. Team also includes President KCCA Nadeem Omar and Prominent Businessman Arif Habib and Former First Class Players.

The team will play two ODI matches of 50 Overs each against England and the touring Australian Veterans Team. Three 45 overs matches will be played against Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire Counties. PVCA is very grateful to Mr. Shah Mehmood Qureshi Foreign Minister of Pakistan for his personal intervention in getting UK Visas of some of the players from the British High Commission.

Reserve Players:

Muhammad Akram and Altaf Aziz.

Itinerary:

17th June 2019 against Yorkshire County at Woodlands Cricket Club Bradford.

19th June 2019 against Lancashire County at Heywood Cricket Club, Heywood.

21st June 2019 against England Veterans Team at Oswestry Cricket ClubShropshire.

24th June 2019 against Australian Veterans Team at Oswestry Cricket ClubShropshire.

26th June 2019 against Cheshire County at Warrington Cricket Club, Warrington.
