PIA post Hajj flights to arrive on saturday

Karachi, August 16, 2019: PIA Post-Hajj Operation to bring back Hujjaj from Saudi Arabia will commence from 17th August. This year more than 82,000 Hujjaj are travelling with PIA through 290 Hajj and regular scheduled flights.

The first Post Hajj flights will reach Karachi, Islamabad and Faisalabad on 17th August, for Lahore, Peshawar and Multan on 18 August, Quetta on19th August and first flight to Sialkot will arrive on 21 August. PIA senior officials will welcome and receive the Hujjaj of the first Post Hajj flight arrivals at respective airports.

CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik has instructed PIA Hajj team members to provide best services to the returning Hujjaj to make their return journey hassle free.  The entire hajj operation is being conducted by PIA’s own fleet of A320 and B777 aircraft without acquiring any aircraft on lease.

PIA will transport more than 20,766 Hujjaj to Karachi, 16,095 to Islamabad, 15,272 to Lahore, 4707 to Multan, 1,889 to Faisalabad 4,607 to Sialkot, 10,609 to Peshawar and 8324 to Quetta through Hajj and regular scheduled flights. The Post Hajj operation will conclude on 14th September 2019.
