Karachi, February 08, 2021: Alkhidmat orphanage management with assistance of a donor provided opportunity to children being cared under its family sport program along with their mothers to buy clothes, shoes and other necessary items at a Departmental Stores in Karachi.
On the occasion, Alkhidmat women volunteers belonging to Karachi University and Jinnah Women University conducted as helping hands to the children choice.
The Store management offered them a special cut price facility and also hosted them with soft drinks, according to Alkhidmat spokesman.
Later during a ceremony held at Alkhidmat Head office, these children were handed over their buyings. A social worker, Mrs. Farzana Haroon who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that these children are members of our society and their care is the responsibility of our community as well.
Senior Manager Resource Mobilisation Alkhidmat Karachi ,Inayatullah Ismail thanked the donor and volunteers for joining hands for this activity and said that this attempt was made to bring happiness among children and their mothers.
He added Alkhidmat celebrates international and national days in order to boost confidence of children and to augment their knowledge in this respect. February 14 would be celebrated as ‘youm-e-haya . The famous writers and blogger Farah Misbah conducted this ceremony as a host.
