Holly Willoughby: Man in court over alleged kidnap plot

A man has appeared before the court facing alleged murder and kidnapping charges of a TV presenter Holly Willoughby.

The accused – identified as Gavin Plumb, 36, resident of Potters Field, Essex works as a security officer at a local shopping precinct in the town, was appeared before the Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court for a brief hearing.

Gavin Plumb faces charges of soliciting to commit murder and incitement to commit kidnap the TV presenter Holly Willoughby.

Holly Willoughby the TV presenter failed to appear on the latest episode of the ITV show this morning as she was reportedly under police protection at her residence.

The 36-year-old remained in custody as he is set to appear for a plea hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on November 03.

Plumb was alleged to have persuaded or proposed to a third party to formulate a murder plan of Willoughby between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Furthermore, the accused allegedly motivated this third party to travel from the United States (US) to the United Kingdom (UK) to carry out the plan.
