273 Pakistani exhibitors showcased their innovations at Heimtextil 2024

Pakistan, January 12, 2024 : Heimtextil 2024 came to a successful end. With over 2800 exhibitors from 60+ countries globally, Pakistan ranked fourth among the top 10 exhibiting countries. And 273 Pakistani exhibitors took the opportunity to showcase their products such as bedsheets, towels, kitchen linen and other home textile products internationally.

At Heimtextil 2024, sustainability was presented in its dedicated area Econogy Hub (formerly Green Village) of Hall 12.0. Six Pakistani companies were among the 30 exhibitors showcasing a special interest in sustainable practices at the leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles.

Pakistani exhibitors aimed to establish connections with a global audience, reaching beyond European buyers, and sought engagement with individuals from various sectors and subsectors within the international textile industry.

From Pakistan many big names from home textile industry took part in Heimtextil 2024 which included such as Gul Ahmed,  Alkaram Textile Mills, Lucky Textile Mills, Sadaqat Limited, Gohar Textile Mills, Nishat Chunian, Nishat Mills, Adamjee Enterprises, Orient Textile Mills and many others located in hall level 10.

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) led Pakistan’s presence at Heimtextil Frankfurt 2024, bringing together over 58 companies to showcase the nation’s excellence in textiles and highlighting Pakistan’s strong dedication to the event. There was a great participation of small and medium sized companies under the banner of Trade development authority of Pakistan in Heimtextil 2024.

Ms. Amna Naeem, the Trade & Investment Counselor in Frankfurt, Germany, mentioned that the representation of Pakistan is highly impressive. As we are aware, the textile industry holds great significance for Pakistan, serving as a primary contributor to the country’s exports. The participating companies aim to connect with individuals not only from Europe but also from across the globe. Pakistani textile exhibitors are diligently working and exerting maximum effort to meet global standards. I anticipate a successful Heimtextil exhibition, and this is significant for both Pakistani exporters and the government.

Mr. Mohd Asif Shaikh, CEO of United Textile Printing Industries, is pleased with the company’s 30-year presence at Heimtextil. He noted a positive increase in footfall this year, surpassing previous attendance levels. Despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, the fair showed significant improvement, highlighting the industry’s resilience. Mr. Shaikh sees this positive trend as a promising sign for the future.

Mr. Bilal Zafar, Marketing Director at Zafar Fabrics Pvt Ltd, mentioned the company’s two-decade involvement in Heimtextil, emphasizing the positive experiences. He pointed out that this year’s exhibition was exceptionally good with a notable increase in buyer traffic. Our company is very satisfied, highlighting the achieved success and positive outcomes. This commitment showcases our dedication to the industry and our ongoing pursuit of excellence in textile marketing.

Mr. Wahid Tumbi, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Orient Textile, underscored the importance of Heimtextil as a vital fair for their business. He stated, “The number of buyers increased this year after the challenges of COVID. We are actively focusing on sustainability and have showcased samples featuring various types of fibers, including organic and recycled cotton. Our efforts have been well-received by many international buyers, and we are optimistic about building strong business relationships with them in the future.

The show successfully attracted buyer groups from 130 countries, and a large number of trade visitors from Pakistan attended Heimtextil Frankfurt 2024.
