Karandaaz receives global recognition for best practices in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Karachi, March 05, 2024: Karandaaz Pakistan, a leading impact investment platform that drives sustainable economic growth and strengthens financial and social protection systems for inclusion, has received the prestigious Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Benchmarks (GDEIB) Award 2024.

Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Benchmarks (GDEIB) are the standards for organisations around the world. The Global DEI Benchmarks Standards help organisations determine strategy and measure progress in managing diversity and fostering inclusion.

HR Metrics conducts GDEIB awards on an annual basis through a merit-based process in which organisations are given the opportunity to disclose their diversity, equity, and inclusion accomplishments with a focus on social and economic impact on relevant stakeholders. Organisations from all sectors across Pakistan are eligible to take part in the awards. GDEIB standards contains 15 categories, 275 benchmarks and 5 levels of maturity assessed by an international jury of Award.

Karandaaz Pakistan received the award for Best Practices in Category 3 i.e. DEI Structure and Implementation, a testament to its focus on diversity in the leadership and governance structures of the organisation.
