A Platform for Global Engagement

This year, approximately 573 foreign buyers from nearly 60 countries are participating in the event, alongside 210 exhibitors showcasing their products.
Delegations from countries such as Argentina, the Netherlands, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Colombia, and Brazil engaged in extensive discussions with TDAP leadership, focusing on collaboration and potential business opportunities.
Showcasing Pakistani Talent
TDAP has played a pivotal role in promoting Pakistani textile and leather products, providing vital avenues for production and design houses to connect with international buyers. This year’s event features a fashion show highlighting the work of top Pakistani designers, including Shamaeel Ansari, GOGI by Hassan Riaz, Sahar Atif, and many others. Additionally, the show will welcome foreign delegates and showcase the creativity and craftsmanship of Pakistan’s textile sector.
B2B Meetings Drive Connections
To foster meaningful partnerships, TDAP arranged sector-specific B2B meetings, successfully facilitating discussions between foreign buyers and local exhibitors. The UK delegation engaged in fruitful meetings with FPCCI, while representatives from the Russian Textile Association held talks with various industry associations, including the Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA), the Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturing Association (PHMA), and the Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PLGMEA). Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed, solidifying new collaborations.
Economic Impact and Future Prospects
The TEXPO event is expected to significantly enhance Pakistan’s international image and stimulate economic activity, particularly within the textile export community. The exhibition will continue over the next two days, concluding on October 25, 2024, with the final day open to the general public.
As TEXPO Pakistan 2024 unfolds, it promises to be a landmark event for the textile sector, creating invaluable opportunities for networking, business growth, and showcasing the best of Pakistani textile innovation to the world.
