Karachi, August 23, 2023: A prominent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader from Karachi, Khurram Sher Zaman, on Wednesday got interim bail in two split cases reported at the Tipu Sultan and Firozabad police stations.
Following the protest staged by PTI supporters against the arrest of their party’s Chairman – Imran Khan – on May 09, Khurram Sher Zaman submitted an interim bail plea to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) to avoid his potential arrest.
However, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) approved Khurram Sher Zaman’s interim bail for Rs 100,000, offering him temporary relief from his arrest.
The ATC, however, has directed the PTI leader to appear before the court again on August 26, marking the continuation of the legal proceedings.
This move has enabled him to secure bail in the cases specifically reported at the Firozabad and Tipu Sultan police stations.
