Karachi, August 23, 2023: Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and District City Police in a joint operation successfully arrested an Indian Spy along with his Pakistani facilitator.
The apprehended Indian spy was engaged in spying activities, targeting various key and sensitive locations in Pakistan.
According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) – Arif Aziz – the arrested agent and his facilitator were identified as Akhil Dev – an Indian secret agent and Zahoor Ahmed – the Pakistani facilitator.
In the course of the search operation, the police confiscated two Indian passports, one pistol, a fake jewelry box, 500,000 Irani Riyals, six mobile phones, one tablet, and various documents from the culprits.
“Akhil Dev is a trained Indian spy who was working undercover with the assistance of his Pakistani facilitators,” SSP Arif Aziz claimed.
Further investigations into the arrested suspect are underway, with the possibility of significant revelations during the interrogation process. Meanwhile, raids are being conducted to apprehend other accomplices of the suspects.
