The wait is over for Pakistani cricket fans around the world eagerly waiting for the announcement of Pakistan’s national team squad for the World Cup as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has concluded the consultations for the squad.
PCB Chairman, Zaka Ashraf, chaired a meeting with the national coaching staff, Captain Babar Azam, Vice-Captain Shadab Khan, former captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Muhammad Hafeez to finalize the squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.3

The meeting members reviewed performance of the players in the recent tournaments and sought input from head coach Grant Bradburn, batting coach Andrew Puttick, and bowling coach Morne Morkel.
Dr. Sahil Saleem was also invited to attend the meeting to brief on player injuries and rehabilitation programs.
As all the consultation and recommendation is completed, PCB is set to announce Pakistan’s squad for the World Cup tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM.
It is pertinent to mention here that the ICC’s deadline for submitting the 15-player squad for the World Cup is September 28, 2023.
