Pakistan’s young pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi shared his thoughts prior to the Indo-Pak match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
The ICC Cricket World Cup is set to begin on October 5 in India in which Pakistan will play their first match against the Netherlands on October 6, while in the second match, the green shirts will face Sri Lanka on October 10.
The high tens match between Pakistan vs India will kick off in Ahmedabad on October 14.
A video of an interview with Pakistan-talented fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi was uploaded on the photo and video-sharing app Instagram, in which Afridi expressed his thoughts about the Pakistan-India match.
Shaheen Afridi said that the Pakistan vs India will be played in Ahmedabad, in the presence of almost a hundred thousand fans at the stadium, and performing in such games can make a player a hero.
The fast bowler expressed hope that people in India will also come and support the Pakistani team during the World Cup event.
It is pertinent to mention here that the squad for the national team has been finalized for the World Cup, and the announcement is expected to come out tomorrow.
There is a huge chance of fast bowler Hasan Ali to be included in the squad as a replacement of injured Naseem Shah.
