Pakistan ban two organisations for involvement in terrorism

Karachi, July 31, 2024: Pakistan has officially banned two organizations, the Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group and the Majeed Brigade Group, due to their involvement in terrorism.

According to details, the two groups have been added to the list of proscribed organisations.

After being monitored for two years, the authorities found solid evidence of their terrorist activities and add both groups to the list of banned organizations.

Hafiz Gul Bahadur, once a government contractor, now leads the strongest militant group in North Waziristan.

While, the Majeed Brigade, established in 2011, is a particularly deadly guerrilla unit of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), primarily targeting security forces and Chinese interests in Pakistan.
