Gold prices in Pakistan continued to climb for the second consecutive session on Friday. In the local market, the price per tola of gold increased by Rs1,400, reaching Rs263,500, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,200, bringing it to Rs225,908.

On Thursday, gold prices had already increased by Rs2,000, settling at Rs262,100. Meanwhile, the international gold price surged by $15, reaching $2,518 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices, however, remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola. Last month, gold prices in Pakistan reached a record high of Rs263,700 per tola.
