Islamabad, May 6, 2019: Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Company (PHDEC) and National Information Technology Board (NITB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for E-Office Implementation.
The Chief Executive Officer PHDEC – Muhammad Ashraf and Director General NITB – Faisal Rathyal signed the MoU during a ceremony held at PHDEC Office- 3rd Floor, FPCCI Capital house, G-8/1, Islamabad which was also attended by the officers from both sides.
The CEO-PHDEC appreciated the cooperation of NITB in the timely configuration of e-office by its team, through the provision of requisite infrastructure and connectivity with National Data Center through NTC. In this regard, Administrator and End-user training also stand completed by PHDEC officials. PHDEC is one of those few government organizations which have adopted a less-paper environment through adoption of technology.
PHDEC was restructured by the Commerce Division and the management was tasked to transform into a modern organization. The Company has been completely automated, with all its operations being managed through the adoption of technology. The file movement and approval system has been automated through the E-Office application suite developed by NITB. It has improved the productivity of human resource.
