Karachi, January 11, 2019: Some 222 Pakistani exhibitors participated in Heimtextil Frankfurt, Germany, held 08 to 11 January, 2019. Pakistani companies and Commercial Counselor Pakistan was highly satisfied with Heimtextil Frankfurt 2019 results.
During the fair all exhibitors were extremely busy and happy due to arrival of thousands of visitors.
According to organisers some 222 exhibitors took part in Heimtextil Frankfurt Fair from Pakistan making its 4th largest participating country.
The flow of the buyers was good as the results at Heimtextil 2019 will definitely boost exports of Pakistan. Buyers from all over the world came including far places as South America & Australia.
Exhibitors were happy with successful start to the new furnishing season as around 70,000 (final figure to be released) visitors experienced design innovations by 2,908 international exhibitors from 65 countries at Heimtextil from 8 to 11 January. With growth on both the visitor and exhibitor side, Heimtextil has convinced the world with its unique position for home & household textile.
The Asian premium area for household textiles can be found in hall 10.2. Al-Karam Textile, Gul Ahmed Textile, Kamal and Sapphire etc showcased their premium products in Hall 10.2.
Another major highlight of the show was the student delegation from Asian Institute of Fashion Design and Textile Institute of Pakistan. Students’ delegation visited Heimtextil 2019 to explore the new trends in global market.
Around 1000 trade visitors from Pakistan attended Heimtextil Frankfurt 2019.
Upcoming home textile fairs are in Shanghai, Moscow, New Delhi and New York.
Khawaja Khurram Naeem – Pakistan Commercial Counselor in Germany visited the fair and shared his views that Heimtextil is one of the biggest fairs of Home textile and we always see a big number of participation from Pakistan in this fair. This time total 222 exhibitors are representing Pakistan, they got really good responses from the buyers. “I do appreciate the efforts of Pakistani exhibitors and the efforts of Messe Frankfurt and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan”, he added.
Arif Ahsan Malik, Chairman of All Pakistan Bedsheets and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) reported that, “With the huge range of home textile products and designs make Heimtextil the best platform to showcase our products and start our year. We are overwhelmed by the response of the buyers, who showed great interest in our products”.
Moin A. Razzak, Vice Chairman of Towel Manufacturers Association of Pakistan and CEO of Hasham Towel said that it was a wonderful show; we got so many buyers from Italy, Spain, South America and Germany. Heimtetxil provides us an important platform for engagement and interaction with a large number of buyers at one place. Overall the response has been strong and we see this as a market with a bright future. I am sure it has become a successful fair of this year,he added.
