Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issue the instructions to all local and foreign airlines.
According to CAA this decision was taken by aviation division to safe the air travel in the country.
CAA spokesperson told ProPakistani that Instructions airlines issued for all airlines local and foreign to do proper check of passengers identification and other documents before boarding to aircraft. Photo Identity is must for travelers.
“Passengers show their original Comprised National Identity Card (CNIC). In case CNIC not available passengers can show their pass ports or driving license to prove their identity.” Spokesperson told.
CAA says that these instructions given to make air travel safe and secure.
CAA starts a social media campaign to spread awareness about photo ID. CAA also display banners to inform passengers about the decision.
Aviation division issued these direction after human trafficking case surface in recent past.
