Karachi, July 19, 2019: A Younger brother of experience first-class cricketer Saeed bin Nasir, Ahmer bin Nasir become the first batsman to score successive centuries in the 3rd All Karachi Champions Trophy T-20 Cricket after the opener hammered 137 as Shalimar CC beat strong Rangoonwala CC by only 8 runs at the Al Mansoora ground on Thursday.
Opting to bat first in the league tie, Shalimar CC rattled up 214 -5 Usman plundering nine boundaries and 12 huge sixes during his hurricane 66 -ball innings to follow on the heels of 117 he made against Al-Amir Colts in a first match.
While opener Ashir Ahmed contributed a 27 on 32 balls with four fours as he and Ahmer put on 106 for the opening stand, Kashif Iqbal scored 21 off 12 balls with two fours and one six. Slow left armer Imran Ali captured 4-31.

Rangoonwala CC showed good fighting spirit in their reply as Allama rounder Imran Ali blasted a splendid 40-ball 74 studded with eight boundaries and four sixes but his excellent all-round performance went in vain, Akhtar Khan contributed 30 off 23 balls with two sixes and one four while both added 92 runs for the fourth wicket
However, the Rangoonwala ’ valiant effort was restricted to 206-7 allotted 29 overs.
