Karachi, August 5, 2019: Indus Motor Company (IMC) has again won the 16 Annual Environment Excellence Award (AEEA) at the Annual Conference on Environment 2019 held in Karachi recently.
The conference was organized by the National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH), a non-profit organization focused on creating public awareness on environmental, healthcare and educational issues in Pakistan.
Recognized among the top 10 organizations of Pakistan for leading efforts to protect the environment, the award secured by IMC underlined the company’s vision, contribution to environment conservation, as well as its robust corporate social responsibility program.
Expressing his views, CEO IMC, Ali Asghar Jamali said, “It is a moment of joy for us to be recognized again by NFEH. This honor that has been bestowed on us again goes a long way to show the commitment we have for our environment and society. We take pride at Toyota Indus Motors in our CSR initiatives and have always strived to set an example as a leader in corporate social responsibility.” He further added, “IMC reaffirms its commitment to the people of Pakistan and will always do everything possible to improve our environment.”
The awards were presented after the assessment and unanimous agreement of a panel of esteemed judges including government officials and corporate dignitaries.
