PTA gives deadline to register other sim slots of mobile phone

Karachi, August 17, 2019: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) gives a deadline for registering second sim slot of mobile phones.

According to PTA spokesperson, customers willing to register their other SIMs slots/IMEI’s of their mobile phones will have to get it registered before August 31, 2019.

No such sim slots/IMEI’s will be registered after August 30. To find out the status of mobile device IMEI, dial #06# and SMS the 15-digit IMEI number to 8484.

The costumers whose second sim slot IMEI is not registered will have to email PTA for further information.
