Karachi, November 15, 2019: Director General, Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Major General Omer Ahmed Bokhari visited SITE Association of Industry and discussed the law & order related issues with the industrialists of SITE area.

Addressing the industrialists of SITE area, DG Rangers said that he will prepare a revised & comprehensive security plan for SITE area in consultation with Sector Commander and Wing Commander. He very much appreciated the setting up of SITE Crime Monitoring Cell within the premises of SITE Association and stated that Rangers will work on better utilization of the facilities provided in the SCMC, taking it to the next level.
He said that the Internal Security of Karachi is very important for which, Rangers is rendering services to the Sindh Government. The expectations of industrialists regarding law & order should be met.
Earlier, SITE Acting President Muhammad Saleem Nagaria welcomed the Chief Guest and thanked him for sparing valuable time to visit the Association to discuss law & order related matters. He also requested DG Rangers to use his good offices to uplift the infrastructure of SITE area, particularly roads which are in pathetic condition.
Chairman of Law & Order Committee Mr.Abdul Hadi briefed the DG Rangers on the working of SITE Self Security System and highlighted coordination problem with the two wings of Rangers and requested Wing’s support to monitor and improve performance of Rangers Security Guards whose services have been availed by the Association.
Patron of SITE Association Mr.Zubair Motiwala said that law & order in SITE area is much better than before and there is need to maintain it. He highlighted the role of SITE area in Karachi as well as national economy and said that Karachi should be given importance in resources allocation.
Patron-in-Chief SITE Association Mr.Siraj Kassam Teli also spoke on the occasion. He thanked the Chief Guest for visiting SITE Association and said that most of the street crimes occur due to poor condition of roads which is now a security issue. For the repair of roads, SITE LIMITED is responsible and they have assured to repair major roads in 4-5 months. He requested the DG Rangers to plead this matter with government high ups which is linked with law & order situation of the area. He very much appreciated the role of Rangers in bringing back peace in Karachi and assured DG Rangers of every cooperation on behalf of industrialists of SITE area.
Former President Mr.Jawed Bilwani and Mr.Younus Bashir also spoke on the occasion. As a gesture of goodwill, Association’s crest was presented to the Chief Guest who also presented a memento to Acting President Mr.Muhammad Saleem Nagaria.
