Karachi, April 21, 2020: Iftekhar Ahmed & Co., having realized their social responsibility, has installed a sanitary gating spray to prevent the spread of the Corona virus in the country’s largest Karachi fruit & vegetable market.
The engineering team of M/s Iftekhar Ahmed & Co has installed a Sentizer Gateat the entrance of the fruit section of the vegetable market. The installation of the Sanitizer Gate will help to protect thousands of workers in the vegetable market from the deadly virus.
Thousands of laborers and traders come to the vegetable market, and keeping up market activities is vital in maintaining the delivery of food items. For this purpose, Iftikhar Ahmed & Company, having realized their social responsibility, decided to install two sanitizing gates as donation in the vegetable market, one gate has been installed at the entrance of the fruit section while the other gate be installed at the door of the vegetable section within a few days .
Waheed Ahmed said that forty minutes can be secured within a minute from the sanitizing gate and thus in an hour, more than 2,000 people will be able to secure themselves in the market by passing through the germ spray gate. A 1,000 liter capacity tank, motor and electric controller are attached to the spray gate. It is being sprayed by adding chlorine with water to eliminate the threat of the virus, which is safe for human health and the most effective solution for cure.
Iftekhar Ahmed & Co. has decided to publicize the design and technique of the gate in view of the risk of the Corona virus.
