Karachi, May 13, 2020: Jubilee Life Insurance, the leading private sector life insurance company, has recently announced their initiative to make contributions to a few leading institutions from the healthcare sector – Indus Hospital, LRBT and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital, in a joint effort with their customers.

Each like, comment or share made on the contribution post of Jubilee Life’s social media pages will generate a contribution of PKR 50 from Jubilee Life Insurance to these health care institutions.

The more number of people participate and help spread the message the larger the impact will be of the initiative. Together, a great contribution can be made to these hospitals that are making tremendous efforts in their specialised fields.

Mr. Javed Ahmed, MD & CEO, Jubilee Life Insurance said “In the current circumstances our health care system is at the forefront as well as under a lot of pressure and requires all our support. This initiative requires maximum participation from people with whom we can together bring about a greater impact. Indus Hospital, LRBT and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital are among the most highly reputable institutions in the health care system of Pakistan, and they have been delivering services at an international standard. We hope that this initiative will serve as a means of help and support for them.”

Ms. Shabana Shahzad, Head of Communications, LRBT stated “The initiative taken by Jubilee Life Insurance is a heartfelt one and we truly appreciate their efforts, but for it to be a major success, we encourage people to play their part and spread the message as much as possible. From a mobile unit in 1985 in Tando Bago we have grown and emerged as the largest eye care network in the country only because of the constant support and contributions made by donors over the years but this current time has been one of its kind and for sure the most difficult for our teams that include doctors, paramedics, nurses including other staff. We urge people to come forward and support this initiative so more underprivileged can benefit. May Allah bless the Jubilee Life management and team for playing their part so responsibly.”

She further said that,  “Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Chief Executive Officer – The Indus Hospital, showed his appreciation for this initiative. He said that I’m grateful to Jubilee Life’s efforts to support humanitarian causes especially Indus Hospital. This will not only help us in generating resources but it’ll also help us in reaching out to a bigger segment of the population. The Indus Hospital is for the people and by the people, therefore, we solely rely on their support. I would request people to visit the Jubilee Life’s social media pages and like, comment, and share their posts. Your small efforts can make a great difference in a patient’s life.”

Mr. Tariq Azam, Director Marketing & Fundraising, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital stated “The initiative taken by Jubilee Life Insurance is a heartfelt one, but for it to be a major success, we encourage people to play their part and spread the message as much as possible. Our hospital has grown with the constant contributions made by donors over the years but this current time has been the most difficult for our teams that include doctors, paramedics, nurses including other staff and a little support and enthusiasm shown by the people will make a huge difference.
