Karachi, October 22, 2020: Col. Tahir Ayaz, Sector Commander, Pakistan Rangers, visited SITE Association of Industry and discussed law & order related issues with the industrialists of SITE area. He was accompanied by Wing Commander (92 Wing), Lt. Col. Aftab Ahmed.
On this occasion, SVP Riaz Uddin, VP Abdul Kadir Bilwani, Immediate Past President Suleman Chawla, Ex-President Jawed Bilwani and Members namely Arif Lakhani, Abdul Rasheed, Saleem Nagaria, Hussain Moosani, Kamran Arbi, Farhan Ashrafi, Haris Shakoor and Chairman APTPMA Muhammad Imran were also present.
Addressing the Industrialists, Sector Commander said that the role of Association is crucial for employment generation, business & trade promotion and he assured his full support in every aspect either it is maintaining of law & order, infrastructure development, cleaning of the area or any administrative responsibility assigned to them coming within the ambit of Rangers purview. He also assured that 92-Wing of Pakistan Rangers will work for improvement of law & order and clearing and removal of encroachments which serve as hideouts for criminals.
Zubair Motiwala, Patron of SITE Association, informed that a grant of PKR 1.037 billion has been approved by the Chief Minister Sindh for the repair and construction of 19 roads of SITE area which would also help in reducing street crimes in the area.
He appreciated that the overall situation of law & order has improved and peace has been restored after the Sindh government availed the services of Pakistan Rangers. However, in order to achieve the desired objectives, Industrialists need help & support of Pakistan Rangers to overcome the administrative hurdles in the SITE area.
Earlier, Abdul Hadi, SITE President, welcomed the Chief Guest and thanked him for sparing valuable time to visit the Association to discuss law & order related matters. He also requested the Sector Commander to use his good offices to uplift the infrastructure of the SITE area, which are the indirect causes of increase in street crimes.
Abdul Hadi briefed Sector Commander on the working of SITE Self Security System and requested Wing’s support to monitor and improve performance of Rangers Security Guards whose services have been availed by the Association.
