Hyderabad, September 27, 2023: The Pakistani team on Wednesday reached Hyderabad, India – via a connecting flight from Dubai – to participate in the ICC World Cup 2023.
According to the reports, the Indian police officials prohibited the fans in India from waving the Pakistani flag and chanting slogans in favor of the Pakistani Team.
In a statement, Pakistani fan Chacha Bashir claimed that the Indian police officials took away the Pakistani flag which he takes with him to welcome the Pakistani Cricket Team in India.

On the occasion of the national team’s arrival, strict security arrangements have been made by the officials of Indian police officials.

Sources said that more than 20 security vehicles were deployed at the airport, while various Indian channels did live coverage of the arrival of the Pakistan team in India.
It is pertinent to mention here that the national team will take part in the training session after one-day rest in Hyderabad. The Pakistani Cricket team will play its first warm-up match against New Zealand on September 29, while the first match of the ICC mega event is scheduled on October 06 against the Netherlands.
