Karachi, October 25, 2023 : Six ships namely, Maersk Detroit, MSC Yukta-X, Ardmore Chippewa, Sinar Malahayati, Leader and Kanha, carrying Containers, Palm oil, Chemicals, Mogas and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Terminal, Engro Terminal, FOTCO Terminal and Sui Southern Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
Meanwhile two more ships, Amalia and Marangas Kalymnos carrying Gasoline and LNG are also arrived at outer anchorage of the Port on today morning.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Serene Amelia, SinarMalahayati and Maersk Detroit are expected to sail on today. Cargo volume of 114,670 tonnes, comprising 92,761 tonnes imports cargo and 21,909 tonnes export cargo, including containerized cargo carried in 4,304 Containers (3,383 TEUs Imports and 921 TEUs export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are eight ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Marangas Kalymnos and Discovery carrying LNG and Wheat are expected to take berths at Gas Terminal and Grain Terminal respectively on Wednesday.
