Karachi, October 30, 2023: The local police in Karachi conducted a planned operation and gunned down a gang of street criminals in the Malir Saudabad area early this morning.
According to the police statement, a total of four street criminals – identified as Akhtar Gul from Malir Karachi, while Qamar Uddin, Haidar Khan, and Dad Mohammad from Afghanistan – were shot dead in an encounter.
The police set a trap for the accused robbers and deployed some undercover police officers in the plain clothes in the Saudabad, Malir area.
The CCTV video of the encounter revealed that the four dacoits riding motorcycle arrived at the scene, to only to be confronted by undercover police officers.
However, they realize about the trap and try to flee from the scene, as one of the accused who dressed in a black dress, can be seen in the video firing shots at the police officers, while the second suspect who tried to flee on a motorcycle was shot dead by the undercover police officer.
Meanwhile, the police recovered a total of 32 mobile phones from the possession of the deceased suspects, with 15 of them linked to registered cases.
