ISPR: Security personnel thwart a terrorist attack on the Mianwali training airbase.

Rawalpindi, November 04, 2023 : According to the military’s media branch, on Saturday, the Pakistan Army stopped a terrorist attack on the Pakistan Air Force’s Mianwali Training Air Base.

“A failed terrorist attack occurred on November 4, 2023, early in the morning at the Pakistan Air Force’s Mianwali Training Air Base. Alhumdolliah, as a result of the troops’ prompt and efficient response, has been foiled and thwarted, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets,” the ISPR stated in a statement.

According to the statement, three terrorists were eliminated as they were entering the base, and the other three were encircled or isolated as a result of the forces’ prompt, decisive action, extraordinary bravery, and prompt reaction.

But the statement also said that three already-ground aircraft and a gasoline bowser sustained some damage during the strike.

A comprehensive joint clearance and combing operation is in the final stages to completely clear the region, the military claimed, reaffirming its commitment to “eliminating menace of terrorism from the country at all costs.

In the Gwadar district of Balochistan, terrorists attacked two trucks, leading to the acceptance of martyrdom by 14 Pakistan Army men.

On Friday, terrorists ambushed two security force cars while they were traveling from Pasni to Ormara in the Gwadar area of Balochistan. In the terrorist attack, 14 troops from the Pakistan Army accepted martyrdom.
